Clean Energy Fund To Benefit Made-In-Canada Renewable Fuels

OTTAWA, ON – The Canadian Renewable Fuels Association today applauded Minister Lisa Raitt for the new $1 Billion Clean Energy Fund and the $200 million set aside for demonstration projects of renewable and alternative energy technologies.

“In these difficult times, renewable fuels offer new opportunity, new hope and new growth,” said Gordon Quaiattini, President of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association. “The $200 million set aside for smaller-scale demonstration projects of renewable and alternative energy technologies will help Canada take part in developing even better and more advanced renewable fuels that will help the environment and new investment in rural Canada.”
