New President to Lead Canada’s Renewable Fuels Industry Association

The board of directors of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) is pleased to announce the appointment of W. Scott Thurlow to the position of President effective April 2, 2012.

A lawyer, Mr. Thurlow has extensive experience in government relations, legislation and regulation. He most recently served as Vice President with Temple Scott Associates where for the past three years he was responsible for providing strategic government relations advice to both business and non- governmental organizations.

“Scott brings an exceptional blend of strategic and resourceful skills to the CRFA,” said Tim Haig, Chair of the CRFA Board of Directors. “I am impressed with his emphasis on communication, leadership and his vision for the future development of the industry.”
