CRFA WELCOMES SIGNED LETTER OF INTENT BETWEEN IGPC ETHANOL INC. AND ICM INC.

Ottawa, ON (December 17, 2013) – The Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) today applauded the announcement that IGPC Ethanol, Inc. has signed a Letter of Intent to be the First Canadian Adopter of ICM’s Generation 1.5TM Technology, allowing IGPC Ethanol to produce corn fibre cellulosic ethanol.

“The federal and provincial mandates for renewable content, and operating support programs like ecoENERGY and the Ontario Ethanol Growth Fund, have made Ontario a great place for innovation and advancements in first generation biofuels technology” said W. Scott Thurlow, CRFA President. “IGPC Ethanol and ICM are already leaders in renewable fuels production and this announcement is a critical step forward in the domestic development of advanced biofuels.”
