As announced by Finance Minister Jim Flaherty today, Economic Action Plan 2013 provides $325 million over eight years to Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) to support the development and demonstration of new clean technologies. Also positive is the proposed expansion of eligibility criteria for the accelerated capital cost allowance for clean energy generation equipment to include a broader range of stationary equipment that generates or conserves energy by using renewable sources or fuels from waste.
