The Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) is pleased to congratulate JoAnne Buth on her recent appointment to the Senate of Canada. Prior to accepting the appointment Ms. Buth was President of the Canola Council of Canada and a member of the CRFA Board of Directors.
Over the years Ms. Buth has been a tireless advocate for the Canadian agricultural community and has spoken strongly on the positive benefits of renewable fuels for farmers. Her work representing canola biodiesel helped achieve the two per cent mandate renewable content for the distillate pool which came into effect on July 1, 2011.
