W. Scott Thurlow Announces Departure from CRFA

OTTAWA – October 29, 2014: Mr. W. Scott Thurlow today announced he has stepped down as President of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) to pursue new opportunities. During his tenure, Mr. Thurlow oversaw the introduction of Ontario’s milestone Greener Diesel mandate and unveiled the CRFA’s new vision document and action plan, Evolution and Growth.

“As the recent past has proven, a thriving and fully realized domestic renewable fuels industry is more than possible – it is viable and working in Canada,” said Mr. Thurlow in making the
announcement. “The new CRFA vision and action plan builds on this success. It is an ideal time for me to seek out new opportunities and challenges.”
